Overall I’m really pleased with this series—this is exactly the kind of subject that sings in black and white—color would have only been a distraction and raw conversion headache. But sadly (for me), the black-dot pimple problem pervades the fine details of the fine aspen branches. My finest images from this trip are all mangled by this unacceptable image quality defect.
