Curious Minor Bug in Nikon D850: Formatted Cards Have Invalid Creation and Modification Dates

Get Nikon D850 and Sony XQD at B&H Photo.

I mentioned this bug about 6 weeks ago.

This is a freshly formatted Sony 256GB XQD card from the Nikon D850, in my XQD card reader on my Mac.

I like 256GB cards (or larger) so I never have to erase the card on any single trip—it effectively gives me a backup in the field while I continue shooting over days or weeks.

Same problem with a Lexar 2000X SDXC card, so it looks to be a general issue.
