Voigtlander Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95

Kicking off my review of the Voigtlander Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95 is an aperture series from f/0.95 through f/11.

The Voigtlander lens is a manual focus lens and offers a different look at f/1.2 and f/1.4 than the Panasonic 42.5mm f/1.2.

Magenta Flower on Green (Olympus EM1 + Voigtlander Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95)

Include HD and UltraHD images from f/1.2 through f/16 as well as large crops.

As with the Panasonic 42.5mm series, the full aperture range makes for a sort of animated “movie” the both enjoyable and instructive in seeing how the lens renders effects at each aperture.
