It seemed appropriate given all the attention to Sony A7R shutter vibration to take the topic up (again) for the Leica M Typ 240.

Three new apertures series on the Leica M Typ 240 are presented:

• Leica 90/2 APO-Summicron-R — Weather Box(M240)
• Leica 90/2 APO-Summicron-R — Weather Station (M240)
• Leica 90/2 APO-Summicron-R — White Mountains STOP Sign (M240)

Two of these series are damaged by shutter vibration, but there is some mitigation via a different camera mode and/or mounting mode; see Mitigating Vibration Caused by the Leica M Typ 240 Shutter.
