Sony A7R: Shutter Vibration at 180mm in Portrait Orientation

In Guide to Mirrorless in my review of the Sony A7R, I show shutter vibration with the Sony A7R at 180mm in portrait orientation.

The Leica 180mm f/2.8 APO-Elmarit-R was used along with the Novoflex Leica R to NEX and ASTAT tripod foot attachment.

A reader had emailed to say that the A7R in portrait orientation was even worse. I have confirmed that theory by shooting the same scene in landscape/portrait orientation: shutter vibration is a far more severe problem than in landscape orientation.

Yikes — portrait orientation
