In my review of the Sony RX1R is presented an f/2 - f/16 aperture series with Retina-grade images and generously large crops.

This Sony RX1R aperture series Bristlecone Sunset not only explores sharpness, bokeh and lens performance, but also pixel quality and dynamic range: the scene exceeded the sensor dynamic range (RawDigger data shown also), and required an extreme contrast adjustment during raw conversion: a true test of image quality mettle—whether the image quality can hold up to processing for images under rigorous field conditions.
