Fujinon 7 X 50 Binoculars
A few years ago I reviewed a variety of binoculars.
To this day, my favorite (by far) is the relatively inexpensive Fujinon 7 X 50. I was reminded of just how good these binoculars are at a recent fireworks display. Highly recommended.
The porro prism design offers superb depth of field and see-at-dusk performance that cannot be matched by roof prism designs, even very costly ones. The depth of field differences along are startling under any conditions, but with dilated pupils in dim conditions, the real-world difference is even more so. The eye relief is far superior to most other brands also, and it is a critical factor to comfortable use.
