Shoot It While You Can
From time to time I run into some of my older images which bring back memories, some fond, some bittersweet, and some irksome.
In the latter category falls the San Francisco Zoo. It used to be a fun place to go to shoot the big cats until a tiger fatality (it is my belief that the tiger was provoked).
Now the zoo is boring and useless for big cats, unless you want to photograph graffiti scratches on plexiglass. It’s gone, gone forever. Such is the case with many things, like my hair.
