A detailed examination of sharpness vs noise is presented, along with color rendition.

The example uses a RAW file from the Olympus OM-D E-M5, and while this presentation is intended to apply to any camera, E-M5 users and those shooting other smaller sensor cameras (e.g. Sony RX100) might take a keen interest in the finding as they apply to sharpness and noise.
