Photoshop CS6 Performance on MacBook Pro Retina vs Mac Pro and 17" MacBook Pro

See my MacPerformanceGuide.com (blog and/or articles) coverage of the MacBook Pro Retina.

For example, today’s blog entry Photoshop CS6: MacBook Pro Retina 2.7 GHz vs MacBook Pro 17" 2.5 GHz.

The big drawback of the MPB as a working machine? A hard limit of 16GB memory, along with 4 CPU cores. The Mac Pro remains a far better choice for serious work.

Also, note that Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and CS6 still operate in pixel-doubled mode on the Retina display until Adobe updates them.
