After extended use, I agree with you - Fuji X-Pro just a pain .... Why do people rave about it?
I'll keep it as a back up for M9 to play with ... Not more. Perhaps some software upgrade will improve usability and sharpness.
DIGLLOYD: a camera is the shooting experience + what happens after. A conventional sensor and/or black and white sensor would have made it a “killer” camera methinks. With some time, perhaps RAW conversion will improve and avoid the color and aliasing issues I point out, because in many respects, the sensor is lovely.

Sorry, but I think it is also badly designed. Too many buttons, at the wrong place. I always seem to switch it on when I touch it, no matter what. I always seem to move the exposure compensation dial. While shooting, I seem to hit the Q button all the time. The E-viewfinder magnification to 100% is fine only for totally static subjects. It is horribly slow and the AF seems to guess more than anything … mine seems to look through people and focus on the mountain back at infinity, though it gives me confirmation that the eye is in focus.
Just bad.
Fine for manual glass up to 35mm … but I think that is what I have the M9 for, don’t I J
DIGLLOYD: Hand size and working habits and buttons sometimes don’t mix. A camera like the Leica M9 has its own frustrations, but buttons are not one of them.
