Published in Guide to Leica is an aperture series for the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1 from f/1.1 - f/16.

The 9-stop series includes the full-frame, as well as a variety of actual-pixels crops, all covering the full aperture range, for a good demonstration of bokeh, vignetting, sharpness.

If you’re a Leica M user, the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1 is a bargain. Snap one up is my advice— it’s 1/10 the price of the unobtanium Noctilux-M.

This example and the others yesterday mark the debut of a new iPad-friendly user interface for the aperture series (via buttons), as well as the ability to compare any two frames. Further enhancements planned, concise feedback welcome.
